Job Overview:

Birdseye Solutions is a world leader in end to end virtual presence deployment solutions. As a Marketing Manager, you will report directly to our Management Team and ensure that all aspects of program tactics are executed as planned and optimized for marketing effectiveness. You will play a key role in supporting marketing initiatives for various divisions of the company, including: Product & Sales, Research, and Business Development. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting business initiatives through the development and implementation of marketing strategies, projects, campaigns, messaging, programs and events.


Video Production

  • Manage all aspects of company video production requirements
  • Always use most cost effective development method available
  • Ensure all services than can be done by the station, are done by them

Marketing Material Design

  • Manage all aspects of company wide marketing designs
  • Participates in the development, in conjunction with the sales and management teams, of new product offerings for current and prospective customers
  • Coordinate with designers and printing houses
  • Responsible to recommend redefining, repositioning and/or restructuring marketing initiatives if required to boost performance and profitability against planned goals
  • Ensure designs and creative development labor than can be done by the station, are done by them
  • Prepare custom tailored client proposal packages for outside sales reps
  • Ensure all designs are aligned with company's vision
  • Improve company's internal manuals, content, signatures, posters, theme, voicemail greetings

Social Media

  • Manage and maintain all aspects of all social media accounts
  • Publish 1-2 posts per day across all online media channels
  • Ensure company has the most convincing online presence
  • Ensure company is seen as a dominant service provider in each targeted industry
  • Ensure all publishing is aligned with company's vision

Websites, Animation, and mobile site

  • Manage all aspects of all company divisions web developments
  • Coordinate with developers and manage all projects
  • Maintain websites daily with fresh content news feeds
  • Continuously improve layouts and customer navigation experience processes
  • Use SEO to continuously improve Birdseye's positioning on Google ranking


  • Manage all aspects of content writing
  • Ensure company image viewed as integrity and honesty
  • Maintain all company blogs on website and social media
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of tradeshow presence
  • Maintain industry dominant presence on and offline
  • Maintain 1 daily posts on Kijiji and similar free advertising
  • Send out a monthly newsletter/whitepaper to all customers and prospects with fun to read material
  • Develop new and innovative marketing campaigns such as internal quarterly themes

Record Keeping and CRM maintenance

  • Create new manuals for all new learnings
  • Update CRM with detailed activity with every client interaction and ensure customer records are up to date
  • Maintaining up to date password list shared with operations
  • Create protocols and Birdseye Marketing Guide 1.0 and forward
  • Update and maintain organization in BSI marketing material (both final and raw versions and on google drive)


  • Stay current on all targeted industry trends and latest news
  • Implement improvements to BSI's infrastructure and offering
  • Maintain monthly, quarterly and annual Internal newsletters with key performance indicators
  • Ensure BSI is using most effective way to generate leads using latest online tools and applications
  • Contact customers and collect testimonials
  • Create case studies
  • Look for tradeshows and industry events that company can attend to for purpose of lead generation
  • Look for free online exposure with industry magazines
  • Create and supply outside sales reps with prospect research reports and most up to date on industry trends

Lead Generation

  • Research and find prospects to be targeted by outside sales
  • Ensure all combined marketing campaigns generates no less than 20 organic incoming requests for proposal every week
  • Supply outside sales reps with market research reports and most up to date on industry trends
  • Host webinars


  • Ensure Birdseye is a ?household name? in its targeted industries
  • Ensure company has an ethical public image
  • Ensure all company communication is branded
  • Create Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween and etc.. themes in our signatures
  • Manage all aspects of internal branding


  • Manage all aspects of all pay-per-click campaigns
  • Monitor and improve campaigns on a daily basis


  • University or College degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field of study
  • 10+ years of Social Media & Marketing experience in the B2B space
  • Exceptional copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Familiar and well-versed with CASL (Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation) compliancy
  • Basic/Intermediate graphic design skills and video experience, using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Spark, After Effects, Media Encoder) and Canva
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Google GSuite, and Google AdWords
  • Strong understanding of social channels, digital trends, and industry trends
  • Proven experience using data and insights to drive social engagement by offering compelling and valuable content to appropriate audiences and customers
  • Proven success in managing social channels, content monitoring, social listening, reporting and paid social advertising
  • Strategic and creative approach to problem solving and solutions-building
  • Project management skills and organizational skills
  • Familiar with social listening tools such as Hootsuite, Asana and Zoho Social
  • Experience with SEMRush (or similar) is preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of CSS and & HTML
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Working knowledge of PPC campaigns strategy and execution (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
