Initiative/campaign planning & execution
Lead & manage day-to-day requirements to deliver campaigns, including planning, scheduling, copywriting, coordinating stakeholder reviews/approvals, translation, testing, fulfillment.
Design and implement robust testing plans to continually optimize and drive incremental campaign performance
Develop and manage internal communications plans to drive employee engagement and support of campaigns.
Track results and outcomes of initiatives to support reporting to partners, executives and executive councils.
Support management of marketing budget allocated for customer lifecycle marketing by tracking and reporting on spend to date as well as status against plan on regular basis.
Risk Management & Control
Work with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure consumer-facing materials are compliant with current rules and regulations.
Manage audit requirements: ensure appropriate approvals are documented.
Provide support and input in developing the annual marketing plan.
Conduct research to support the planning process, including competitive intelligence, consumer insights, market trends, and other elements.
Monitor industry best practices and competitor activities related to customer lifecycle marketing.

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance or related field.
Proven success working in a variety of marketing disciplines including demonstrated experience in customer relationship management (CRM) programs, email marketing, digital marketing, direct marketing and marketing analytics.
Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in credit cards category preferred

The Marketing Manager LifeCycle, Balance Growth Programs is accountable to executing marketing strategies to help drive business objectives for Canadian retail credit card balance growth programs. The role will translate program strategies into solution and communication tactics to increase profitable customer relationships, and to help develop and implement marketing and communication materials across multiple channels and multiple tactics, ensuring all marketing materials adhere to brand strategy and overall business objectives and is compliant with legal/regulatory disclosure requirements. The role is accountable to create communication materials that are relevant and continually optimized to drive measurable impact against business results.
Provides advice and supports the balance growth business objectives of the Canadian retail credit card business. Maintains an understanding of the Canadian retail credit card business to produce effective and integrated marketing solutions. Creates, develops and executes marketing plans/strategies that are consistent with brand standards and align to strategic objectives. Develops, recommends and executes marketing plans for initiatives including customer marketing and communications, promotions/incentives, and retention. Manages cross-functional relationships across the Enterprise to leverage opportunities and services. Acts as a liaison between the business and internal marketing functions in order to provide input into the central marketing process and ensure alignment.
Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Actively contributes to agile stand-ups for balance growth programs.
Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of credit card balance growth strategy.
Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensures alignment.
Analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues.
Produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
Develops and implements short and long-term plans/strategies, activation plans, schedules, budgets, communications and tactical plans, as required.
Monitors progress against milestones, recommends and implements adjustments as necessary to meet business objectives.
Oversees/coordinates the development and delivery of marketing solutions per assigned channels/media for campaigns, partnerships
Develops and maintains relationships with internal/external partners, including vendors and suppliers.
Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given parameters.
