SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Sales and Operations Coordinator position is designed to develop the candidate's knowledge of the equipment rental industry. In this entry level role, you will be able to answer product and service questions, process rental orders, and fulfill our customers' needs with accuracy and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated self-starters who want to grow their career in Sales. The successful candidate will be flexible and mobile with the ability to move across Canada if and when required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage large amounts of inbound calls and deal with walk-in traffic in a timely manner
  • Answer all email inquiries
  • Resolve customer inquiries and deal with any issues or concerns
  • Provide customers with expert advice on the selection and operation of all the various types of tools and equipment
  • Generate additional sales revenue through superior customer service on all existing orders
  • Write up rental agreements
  • Source available equipment from other branches within the region
  • Schedule delivery and pick up of equipment
  • Support all team members
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Essential Job Functions

  • Ability to safely drive and operate multiple types of vehicles and equipment
  • Be able to regularly lift 50lb or more
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as stretch, turn, twist, bend, crouch, squat, kneel, reach overhead and stoop for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors when required

Education

High School or GED required, College Degree preferred

Experience

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
