Job Overview

We are looking to hire a Director of Marketing who will lead our company's marketing efforts. As a successful hire, you will be responsible for providing guidance to our marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company's multiple brands.

The Director of Marketing will be part of the Business Development Team that encompasses Sales, Marketing, and Subject Matter Experts.

Responsibilities for Director of Marketing

  • Evaluating and developing our marketing strategy and marketing plan
  • Overseeing the marketing team and leading them in the execution of strategy
  • Working with our subject matter experts to ensure that the content and marketing direction align with industry sales priorities
  • Building brand awareness and positioning for multiple brands
  • Working with the sales department to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction
  • Identifying potential customers and understanding the demand for our products and services
  • Developing promotions with advertising with subject matter experts
  • Understanding and developing marketing budgets
  • Developing and managing advertising campaigns
  • Building brand awareness and positioning for multiple brands
  • Communicating the marketing plan and providing monthly reports to the leadership team
  • Supporting sales and lead generation efforts
  • Coordinating marketing projects from start to finish
  • Overseeing social media marketing strategy and content marketing

Qualifications for Director of Marketing

  • Degree in marketing, communication, pr or equivalent job experience
  • 5
  • 7 years experience
  • Experience with managing multiple brands
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing
  • A customer-focused attitude
  • Content creation experience
  • SEO and PPC experience, certifications preferred
  • Strong drive for results
  • Focused on building and empowering team
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze problems and create a solution
