IDEA department serves as a COE (Center of expertise/excellence) that consults and partners with the business in removing barriers to equity so that everyone feels a sense of belonging. This department enables our purpose to elevate the world by realizing the full potential within every one of us. Our department aims to touch every part of the business: individuals, teams, guests, vendors and our greater collective and community.

a day in the life

Partner with the internal communications team for IDEA efforts

Create solutions and interventions for effective communication across all channels of business

Lead Americas communications as related to IDEA

Partner with IDEA partners in order to keep a global and cross functional scope

Operationalize, program and project manage IDEA initiatives and create sustainment of programming

Operationalize and communicate IDEA efforts across the organization with a focus on NA and global as necessary. Transparency, progress and access is provided across all business channels across all levels of NA & Americas, and global as needed.

qualifications

Experience in working in a global retail organization preferred

2-3 years experience in leading operational systems or processes or equivalent experience

3-5 years experience and interest in DEI research and trends or equivalent experience

Bachelors degree in business, communications or humanities field preferred

Experience using design tools such as InDesign, Canva or other graphic design tools & proficiency in Microsoft office suite including: excel, powerpoint & teams

Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills & social media acumen

Project or program management skills & experience in remote facilitation & technology tools
