Supports the financial performance and delivery of key P&L components for the adidas Brand, inclusive of CTC, Category and Brand Activations. Collaborates with Finance Management in the development of financial plans, targeting, budgeting, forecasting and seasonal hind sighting. Provides reporting and in-depth analysis on performance against plan to assure goals are delivered.
Key Responsibilities (Functional):
Collaborates with Brand team Directors and Finance team to plan, budget, forecast, and analyse the adidas business on a monthly basis, tying into the End to End process locally.
Builds and maintains the Brand SBR Forecasting file used for all financial forecasting by Business Segment.
Collaborates with business on strategic projects to address business risks and opportunities and to influence the outcome.
Ensures financial but also non-financial managers are provided top notch and highly accurate information and analysis for their business decisions with a focus on seasonal hind sighting and in-season planning evaluations.
Prepares weekly, monthly and quarterly Analysis for all Business Units, CTC Channels and Brand Activations and communicates to the entire Brand team.
Independently analyses proposed business risks and opportunities to determine impact on financial results, including post mortems on outcomes.
Collaborates with Finance team to ensure that adidas Brand budgets are executed timely and accurately based on both the Finance and Brand Calendars.
Work with the US Range Architecture team to provide guidance on financial plans, targets, strategies, that focus on achieving desired financial and business objectives.
Brings creative solutions to minimize business risks and maximize business opportunities.

Demonstrated analytical skills, comfort with Finance and/or Accounting principles and good understanding and experience with retail math and financial drivers.
Ability to think cross functionally, join data from various sources and develop solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to be detail oriented and manage multiple priorities to accomplish assignments simultaneously under tight timelines.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, stakeholders, sales representatives, peers, clients, and customers.
Advanced skills in Excel. Strongly proficient skills in Access, Word, PowerPoint and Business Objects (or other reporting software).
Solid understanding in fundamental database design and development. Ability to gather data from multiple sources and manipulate the data for analysis.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
Two years' experience in business or financial analysis or planning
Industry specific experience preferred
Solid accounting skills and experience preferred
Advanced Excel skills required; Access skills a plus
Familiarity with SAP and other relevant adidas and industry Finance systems/analytical software
