We're on the hunt for a B2B marketing whiz to lead the development of positioning and messaging for SKIP's restaurant-facing products and services. This individual will be responsible for the SKIP-to-Restaurant marketing efforts across our network of 20,000+ independent restaurant partners. You're a customer-obsessed, solutions-oriented marketer that has a passion for digging into challenges to uncover the best action and deliver it at scale. Status quo isn't in your vocabulary.
What's on Your Plate::
Funnel Communications:Collaborate, build and lead the B2B marketing calendar ensuring consistency in messaging, branding and content marketing materials for our restaurant product offerings. Partner with Product to develop go-to-market strategies and campaigns for various rollouts across Canada. You will clearly articulate Skip's value proposition in everything you do.
Production:Develop a suite of digital and physical assets that support our restaurant partners and allow them to make the most of the SKIP network. Partner with internal and external stakeholders (Creative, Copywriters, Legal, Agency, etc.) to develop engaging resources to support the restaurant network across various channels including eCRM, video, restaurant portal, sell sheets, last mile visibility branding, et . Execute with excellence at all times.
Association Management:Act as the point person for all provincial and national associations. Leverage associations to ensure Skip is connected to industry decision makers. Identify and lead all trade show efforts including contract negotiation, marketing, activation and measurement.
Reporting & Optimization:Laser-focused on delivering an exceptional B2B experience for our restaurant partners via new users and order volume, anchored by our value props. Monitor and track quantitative and qualitative performance of initiatives to ensure we're delivering the best experience for our restaurant partners.
Stakeholder Management:Develop strong relationships with thought partners across Restaurant Success, eCRM, Operations, Product, Creative, Legal, Communications, Agencies and Senior Leadership
Thought Leadership:Work closely with the Communications team to identify and manage speaking opportunities for senior leadership at industry-leading trade events and conferences
Recipe For Success:
Experience & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years directly running B2B marketing campaigns preferably in a high growth sales environment
Minimum 2 years in a people manager role
A natural communicator both written and oral
- you understand the value of a connection and are able to articulate ideas in a captivating way and with ease to a diverse audience
Exceptional interpersonal and project management skills
- you can lead multiple projects with ease without sacrificing attention to detail
Comfortable analyzing performance results and making recommendations for future actions
Solid understanding of channel marketing and taking projects from concept to execution; experience managing external agency partner(s) is an asset
A passion for the restaurant industry
- you know the hottest trends, you've tried the newest locations, you understand the heartbeat of a restaurant from front of house to back of house
Ability to work autonomously
Comfortable with marketing and sales technology platforms (Eloqua/Marketo/Hubspot; SalesForce, Braze), with the demonstrated ability to learn new tools quickly
