Field Marketing Specialist (Canada)
The Field Marketing Specialist is part of an innovative worldwide team. As a Field Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for contributing to and executing on a successful marketing plan and budget for the assigned regional/vertical area, in alignment with local market objectives, global company positioning, and regional vertical strategies.
A locally customized blend of tactics will deliver on global and regional sales objectives and drive the success of Equinix's cutting-edge global platform and region P&L. This role requires great creativity, the ability to communicate effectively across varying organizational levels and teams, the ability to manage competing priorities, and exceptional project management skills.
This is a CONTRACT position. French language skills are preferred but not required.
Program Management · Contributes to the execution of global and local programs and activities in territory · Supports highly targeted marketing programs to encourage strategic engagement with Equinix · Supports high impact product/solution/service launches within their territory in alignment with Regional launch plans
Virtual Event Planning and Execution · Supports different types of virtual events within the territory supporting all aspects of event management and logistics pre and post event, including working with 3rd parties and agencies to deliver the right event experience and ROI · Contributes to the reporting on events and campaigns to measure campaign effectiveness · Assists with social media campaigns to drive successful activities
Agency Management · Works with Equinix's Creative Services team or third-party agencies to develop supporting materials and collateral
Lead Generation · Works with senior managers to ensure activities generate forecast ROI in terms of MQLs/Opportunities within Lead Management SLAs · Works with Marketing Operations to ensure Leads are captured and progressed through global lead management process and tools
Lead Management · Works with Marketing Operations to ensure leads and contacts enter lead management process and tools · Utilizes SFDC to monitor lead progression Collaboration · Supports the liaison and planning with local sales teams · Liaises with regional and global marketing specialists for product, vertical marketing, programs, marketing operations
Budget Management · Ensures compliance to budget processes by managing costs within agreed goals
Provide input to identifying in-region customer targets by vertical, drive sales plays, advise on how to customize/build playbooks and measure progress against targets
IBX (International Business Exchanges) and product marketing: launches, collateral and digital assets based on global product marketing guidelines, global inbound/outbound marketing and sales enablement activities.
Supports contact acquisition & development strategy for local market: by vertical, job role, target account, suspect/prospect/customer.
Success Metrics: MRR & TCV Pipeline contribution from marketing-generated leads; MQLs generated for in-region customers; MQL-SQL-Closed Won conversion rate; program delivery KPIs, sales activities/participation in programs and utilization of tools, PR metrics, upsell/xsell metrics
