Role Summary:
The Community & Brand Engagement Manager role within our Community department will work closely with multiple departments within the organization, leading strategic brand development and program execution.
Key Responsibilities and Core Traits:
- Curious about cultural trends and conversations, specifically on a local level
- Actively explore and participate in the community to network and unlock insights and new opportunities
- Can spot ways for brands to get involved and craft mutually beneficial and purposeful opportunities
- Translate opportunities into go-to market plans (i.e. narratives, experiences, social content) and work with agency departments as required to deliver
- Manage partner relationships, serve as the conduit for collaboration between brands (clients) and community
- Understand social platforms and their audiences, to inform how to craft, deliver and garner insights
- Proactively connects with people, places, spaces through research and networking
- Lead day-to-day relationship/point of contact to client(s) and client function teams
- Develop meaningful and authentic POV's that resonate with key segments
- Cultivate and funnel new relationships into the brands ecosystem
- Work closely with Head of Community & Brands to identify opportunities and develop/implement strategies to drive client business proactively
- Manage, track and evaluate program results to present detailed and insightful program summaries to client and course-correct as necessary
- Overall financial accountability to account, inclusive of producing accurate project estimates and reconciliation for all budgets upon completion
Requirements of the role:
- Our ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in agency or brand equivalent roles
- Ability to add value in the form of local culture and scene trends
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
- Has a background in Social Media, PR shops, Event/Entertainment Production or lifestyle brand-side
