Position: Community Marketing Manager, Vancouver Titans

Department : Marketing

Reports to: Director, Marketing


The Community Marketing Manager supports the development and execution of major marketing campaigns for Canucks Sports & Entertainment and its affiliated eSports franchises. As a key member of the Marketing Team, they build effective working relationships with stakeholders and leverage both internal and external resources to deliver campaign objectives.

A typical day includes:

  • Supporting the strategic planning, production, and execution of major marketing campaigns and other related fan touchpoints supporting ticket sales, fan engagement, and retail initiatives for the Vancouver Titans (Overwatch League) franchise
  • Leveraging in-house and external research/analytics resources to turn data into insights and insights into an advantage
  • Building marketing plans that deliver on campaign objectives
  • Using best practices to ensure campaigns and collateral are delivered on time and within budget
  • Facilitating market execution of campaign elements via internal and external channel owners (i.e. digital marketing, organic social, PR, etc.)
  • Evaluating project outcomes against defined key performance indications and building contingencies to pivot when required
  • Managing relationships with third-party vendors and seeking ways to open new channels for the marketing team to reach target audiences

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma from a recognized institution in a related field
  • 2
  • 3 years' experience managing the development and execution of major omnichannel marketing campaigns that use both digital and traditional channels
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tactics (i.e. social media, display, SEM, etc.)
  • Basic proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) for basic applications and basic HTML/WordPress and CMS skills
  • Experience developing and managing campaigns/projects using project management software (i.e., Wrike, Outfront, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to adjust on the fly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Open-minded with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by event/promotions schedule
