Job Overview

This position works closely with the internal Operations Team, Marketing and the sales force. This role is the central point of contact for all short-term consignment management of Orthopaedic instrument and implant kits, as well as disposable inventory and MedSurg capital consignment. This role is responsible for ensuring all short-term consignment and capital demonstration inventory is properly recorded in the ERP system and assets are optimized through the loaner program.

This position will support the sales force by providing excellent customer service through facilitating and supporting their loaner and capital demonstration equipment needs.

This individual must serve as a contributing member of the Sales Support team while championing Stryker's Mission and Values.


Individual Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Coordinator to cover requests with loaner and capital demonstration equipment for surgery, demonstration purposes, trial and evaluations
  • Responsible for Sales Representatives calls regarding implants, instrumentation, disposable and capital demonstration equipment
  • Responsible for logistics of disposable, capital demonstration equipment, instrument and implant loaner kits deliveries
  • Accountable for co-ordination of disposables, capital demonstration, loaner inventory and instrumentation in the field
  • Responsible for the accurate maintenance of short-term inventory in-field, including the retrieval, invoicing and movement of inventory to long term consignment
  • Responsible for assisting in monthly completion of consumption orders
  • Focuses on customer satisfaction through teamwork and empowerment, solving problems through a collaborative approach, operating with honesty and integrity and providing a highly responsive level of customer service
  • Researches order issues for short term and capital demonstration equipment
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and providing emergency information intra operatively
  • Timely execution of rush shipment requests during high intensity situations, including patient on the OR table scenarios
  • Supply literature, samples and promotional materials where needed
  • Assist sales force with pricing requests
  • Works with Inventory for the creation of CER's
  • Optimize assets through proactive analysis
  • Work with Marketing Product Managers to obtain new loaner kits and capital demonstration equipment where required
  • Coordinate special product requests
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Education & Qualifications

  • University Degree required; Supply Chain APICS certified preferred
  • Experience in the medical field is an asset
  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
