HR/Marketing Administrator

Fort Garry Industries has an opening for a full-time HR/Marketing Administrator. The HR/Marketing Administrator is responsible for assisting the HR Manager with the onboarding process and other HR duties. This position has the responsibility of overseeing internal and external training, processing claims, and absence reporting. This role will also include assisting the Marketing department with administering the Employee Uniform Program and other Marketing duties as assigned.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

HR Coordination-

  • Create job descriptions and post open positions online as needed
  • Review and vet incoming resumes for open positions
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Manage Short Term Disability claims
  • Absence reporting
  • Assign and manage employee training
  • Employee review management
  • SDS management
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to create policies, memos, etc.
  • Assist management by booking meetings and interviews
  • Manages external vendor training for all branches
  • Data entry
  • Other HR duties as required

Marketing Administration-

  • Administers the Employee Uniform Program
  • Oversee online merchandise store and answer any questions regarding online purchases
  • Oversee inventory levels of on-site merchandise
  • Organize or participate in organizational activities such as work Lunches, Fundraisers, and other events
  • Hotel booking for events
  • Other Marketing duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a like position (or transferable skills)
  • Relevant post secondary education preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office: Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Professional and dependable
  • Excellent customer service skills
