Territory Manager

About the Position

As our Territory Manager you will provide information about the products and services of our company to customers to increase sales and to develop or maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers. The successful applicant will work closely with the Branch Manager to develop sales programs and strategies to attain annual budget targets.

More specifically, you will

Initiate and leverage sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers in your territory

  • Source, develop and maintain new customers

Uphold our values and expectations throughout sales process

Understand product offering, competition and market information

Attain short and long term objectives through good management and planning

Understand and comply with our safety program

Use your highly effective communication to build a positive professional image for yourself, the branch and our company

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a competitive compensation package, which includes full health and dental, plus a company-sponsored RRSP plan.

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of outside sales and/or equipment experience

Proven historical sales and revenue generating success

Ability to prepare and deliver efficient customized sales proposals and presentations to professionals at all levels

Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills both in one-on-one and group settings

Proficient with computer technology

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (business, marketing, heavy equipment, technician, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experiencee
