Salesforce Employee Engagement team is looking for a vibrant self-starter to fill the role of Employee Communications Project Manager. This is a key role on the team to connect the dots and help execute companywide comms campaigns and projects.

This person is an effective, assertive communicator who takes initiative, navigates ambiguity, quickly understands the needs of different stakeholders, and guides internal and external teams to successfully deliver on commitments. The ideal candidate has experience supporting highly engaged teams in a fast-paced, solutions-oriented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Own the intake, assignment, routing, project facilitation, and calendar for all internal communications requests and other projects as needed

Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close mid- to large-scale comms programs and projects

Oversee and iterate the team's project management tool, understanding and leveraging all features to optimize team efficiency and alignment

Implement and manage comms, content, and global events calendars for key stakeholders.

Maintain global Employee Success content calendar to ensure accurate content and a balance of messaging across audiences and channels

Assist communications team members as needed for routing approvals and tests, following up with stakeholders, and building planning documents

Own and update team folder structure organization

Identify, develop, and communicate new processes, solutions, templates, and best practices to boost team efficiency and productivity

Facilitate post-mortems with our team and stakeholders to capture lessons learned to improve our process and our work

Organize and facilitate project planning, weekly meetings, and presentations. Track milestones and tasks with assigned teams

Communicate timelines and approval framework for cross-team understanding, provide timely status reports, introduce mitigation tactics to minimize project delivery risks

Review all tests for companywide emails and ensure accuracy for copy and links

Manage intake form for The Daily

Identify and remove impediments that block the team's ability to meet project objectives

Collaborate and share best practices with Project Managers across our broader team, Employee Success, and throughout Salesforce.

Experience/skills required:

7+ years of project/program management experience

Extensive experience with SmartSheet or Asana (tool-specific certification, a plus)

Strong command of the creative process for the development of comms

Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal/presentation/written)

Agility and ability to leverage scrum project management framework to help the team structure and manage their work

Proven experience working with teams across multiple departments

Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously with multiple stakeholders

Extensive experience with industry best practices in relation to information architecture, user experience, and user interface designs.

Use of independent judgment and initiative to make recommendations and/or solve problems

Ability to adapt and roll out new technology

Ability to multi-task and reprioritize on the fly

Ability to work, think, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced and fluid environment

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Proactive and results-oriented

Experience working with marketing and communications team a plus

Have a healthy sense of humor and a strong penchant for fun
