Assurant is currently looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join the Marketing Communications team in Canada.
What you'll do:
Create copy framework for new client services projects, coordinating regulatory and compliance reviews.
Create versatile copy that reflects various distinct approach for customer-facing program support relevant to defined audiences.
Develop distinctive and targeted style depending on distribution channel, platform and program goals.
Understand of all legal and compliance related considerations as part of the development process.
Collaborate with Customer Experience and Training teams to ensure components are aligned to the desired objectives.
Leverage best practices when developing content in both official languages.
Work collaboratively with team to develop, implement and execute strategies to meet the needs of internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with Engagement Champions from each location to support charitable events, EGP award and other activities.
Create content and updates for relevant channels.
What you'll need:
You are a college graduate with 3-5 years in a communication, project management or event coordinator role.
You have event management experience.
You possess the ability to work independently, prioritize your workload, multi-task and follow-up as necessary in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
You have good problem solving and organizational skills.
You are able to learn about the company's products and services.
You can handle confidential information with discretion.
You are an advanced user of PC and applications such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
You have demonstrated ability to act as part of a team and be flexible to changing needs of the business unit.
