Assurant is currently looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to work with the Marketing Communications team in Canada.

This role works directly with internal teams and outside vendors to ensure fulfillment requests are accurately completed and invoices are processed timely. This role also supports the Marketing Communications team through the following activities:

Day-to-day coordination

Print quotes & send jobs

Report digitization for SharePoint & Dashboard creation

Vendor documentation support for RFPs

Conduct weekly calls with vendors to stay on top of fulfillment requests

Keep ongoing notes from meetings and provide follow up correspondence

Manage questions or issues to maintain a high standard of accurate fulfillment

Send client emails through Exact Target until process is automated

Respond appropriately to inquiries from client services and internal teams

Monitor vendor inquiry Inbox and action incoming requests as appropriate in coordination with accounting team

Ensure vendor requests are accurately coded by program and project codes prior to initiating the request for service

Support the MarComms team through updates/management of Canadian Resource Centre and Yammer Canada groups

Provide copy, design support as needed

Backup content entry for CMS; email updates; enter copy

Process invoices, including validation by looking up information in dockets to ensure invoice accurately matches the order

What you'll need:

High School/College with 1- 2 years in an administrative/marketing role

Experience with inventory management

Experience with Canadian mailing/shipping requirements

Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, multi-task and follow-up as necessary in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

Good problem solving, organizational skills & excellent attention to detail

Ability to learn about company products and services

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Advanced user of PC/Mac and applications such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases

Knowledge of Creative Cloud (Adobe), Sharepoint, ExactTarget, MSForms and Yammer is considered an asset

Demonstrated ability to act as part of a team and be flexible to changing needs of the business unit
