Description:

We're on the hunt for a B2B marketing whiz to own the end-to-end marketing strategy, content development, and loyalty initiatives for couriers with specific attention to best practices to acquire, retain, and improve the experience and performance of active couriers on the Skip Network, whilst supporting the improvement of network efficiencies for our operations teams. This individual will be responsible for the SKIP-to-courier marketing efforts across our network of independent couriers. You're a solutions-oriented marketer that has a passion for digging into challenges to uncover the best action and deliver it at scale. Status quo isn't in your vocabulary.

What's on Your Plate:

Marketing Strategy: Own the communications and marketing strategy for our courier base, from awareness campaigns, to onboarding, to loyalty initiatives for our active couriers.

Solutions-Based Marketing: Listen to problems and respond with strategic and creative marketing solutions that drive growth for partners. You advocate for the improvement of network efficiencies for our operations' teams through automation and optimization of our messaging.

Stakeholder Management: Develop strong relationships with thought partners across Courier Onboarding, Courier Success, Live Courier Care, and Courier Scheduling teams. Act as a key partner to our internal Insights, Digital Marketing, Product, Creative, Legal, and Communications teams, and external agencies. Manage the capacity and process map for inbound requests from all internal and external stakeholders.

Content Marketing: Accountable for the full courier-facing portfolio including eCRM, courier blog, help centre, applicant landing pages, in-app copy, and all outbound external-facing communications to couriers (powered by our creative studio, administered by our operations teams). Balance brand considerations with the transactional requirements of the B2B relationship, ensuring a user-focused experience that is consistent across channels.

Growth Opportunities: Accelerate the performance of courier incentive programs, promoting signups, referrals, alcohol activation, and bicycle courier recruitment. Building marketing playbooks that can be optimized and shared across the business.

Subject Matter Expert: Intimately familiar with the best practices to retain, improve the experience and drive performance of active couriers on the Skip Network.

Product Partnership: Work closely with our courier product owners to ensure a strategic communications plan is paired with all product launches/updates that impact our courier partners. Plans to include proactively designing communications for our operations teams and building support materials for couriers to self-serve solutions.

Insights Collaboration: Consult and support research opportunities to learn more about our active courier pools, in support of the teams leading these projects from courier insights initiatives and UX research.

Recipe For Success:

Experience & Qualifications:

5+ years of marketing experience with a minimum of 2 years directly running B2B marketing campaigns preferably in a membership-driven environment

Minimum 2 years in a people manager role

A strong communicator, both written and oral

  • you understand the value of a connection and are able to articulate ideas in a captivating way and with ease to a diverse audience

Exceptional interpersonal and project management skills

  • you can lead multiple projects with ease without sacrificing attention to detail

Solid understanding of channel marketing and taking projects from concept to execution; experience managing external agency partner(s) is an asset

  • A passion for improving the user experience
  • you know the hottest trends in CXP (Customer Experience and user journeys)
  • Experience with the gig economy considered an asset

A keen understanding of content roadmapping and optimization.

A critical thinker who can leverage data and insights to develop win-win strategies to support improved lifecycle communications; providing reliable review and quality assurance and meticulous legal review of assets before publishing.

Confident application of marketing and eCRM technology platforms (Braze, Data Studio, etc.), with the demonstrated ability to learn new tools quickly
