YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the Marketing Team, the Graphic Designer will manage the provision of graphic design services for Righteous, including creative concepts and production work on retail advertising, website updates, digital ads, sales materials, packaging, social media design and more. In our pursuit of best-in-class marketing and design, the Graphic Designer exhibits a high level of creative ability, problem solving skills and project management in a way that makes us stand above the crowd and in accordance with our mission and core virtues.

Please note: this is an external contractor position with an average of 20 hours per month.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • YOUR ROLE
  • RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver on the Ten Things that Require Zero Talent: being on time, work ethic, effort, body language, energy, attitude, passion, being coachable, doing extra, being prepared

Live the brand and our 8 core virtues & evangelize our delicious creations with passion in everything you do.

Work with internal resources to manage brand image, including website and website design, product packaging, presentation and planograms, consumer e-blasts, social media campaigns, basic video editing, permanent & seasonal signage, point-of-sale and collateral materials

Lead creative concepts for all assets and brainstorming on thematic elements, as well as illustration, or other media as appropriate; supervision of creative print production and promotional execution

Establish print specifications, prepare files, organize archives, review proofs and communicate corrections

Participate in marketing meetings, strategy discussions and presentations as needed

Manage timelines and communication on all creative projects company-wide; set appropriate priorities to keep job and deliverables on track

Identify strategic opportunities to bring innovation to the design process and into the development of the promotional elements

Collaborate with a small team to support all facets of the business

Special Marketing projects as needed

THE MUST HAVES

  • KEY SKILLS
  • ABILITIES:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts an asset

2-5 years of professional graphic design

Strong experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

Possess in-depth knowledge of design principles

Ability to distill information to develop exceptional creative executions

Exhibit a high level of creative ability, problem-solving skills and project management under demanding conditions

Proven ability to work successfully on a team and maintain strong working relationships

Strong organizational skills, ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Ability to handle confidential information

Experience in foodservice industry or CPG a plus

Experience in photography, product photography and photo editing a plus
