Overview :

As the Marketing Campaigns Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of marketing communications professionals dedicated to developing and delivering mass-media campaigns including television, radio, print, outdoor and digital formats. The position will lead the development and implementation of campaign strategies that address critical road safety and loss prevention issues and reduces complex statistical data into brief, simple and effective messaging. You will also accountable for supporting departmental activities that meet appropriate standards of quality, efficiency, consistency, and professionalism.

Responsibilities :
  • Own the execution of the annual media plan and is responsible for monitoring an operating budget.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, using regular feedback as a means for employee development and performance improvement.
  • Foster a high performance team culture that is consistent with the corporate vision, values and leading practices.
  • Lead the development of advertising campaigns, coordinating the planning, development, editing and production of advertising communication materials in a variety of traditional and digital media formats.
  • Develop high-level strategy, creative concepts and messaging for advertising, education and public awareness campaigns.
  • Support and implement content strategy for attracting and engaging customer segments through digital channels.
  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends affecting MPI's business and considers appropriate recommendations regarding campaign strategies.
  • Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to develop consistent messaging for relevant audiences.
  • Qualifications:
  • Diploma in communications, journalism, public relations or related discipline.
  • Seven years of progressive experience in advertising, communications, public relations or related discipline, including two years of in a leadership capacity.
  • Advanced knowledge in all forms of mass communication.
  • Advanced ability to write clear, engaging and error-free copy for a variety of communication materials and purposes.
  • Ability to think creatively.
  • Ability to lead the development of effective advertising campaigns.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools, best practices and technology.
  • Knowledge of outbound marketing via Email and social media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of SEM/SEO/ClickFunnels
  • Advanced oral with the ability to convey complex information in a concise and straightforward manner.
  • Advanced knowledge of new media and social media engagement.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet competing deadlines.
  • Team-building skills with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
