Job Summary:

As Client Marketing Specialist

  • K12 on the Demand Generation team at D2L, you will be responsible for developing marketing assets and running client-focused campaigns for both products and services.

You will be focused on helping D2L's K12 clients with marketing the Brightspace platform to their user base, driving adoption and helping users get the best learning experience for their students, teachers and employees.

Design and execute marketing campaigns for targeted personas in identified growth areas to increase awareness, positive sentiment, and ultimately adoption of Brightspace products and services.

Leverage messaging and marketing assets, including client success stories, to expand outreach capacity and to enable customer advocates to tell our story.

Execute strategic plan for participation in client events to maximize return-on-investment.

Plan and implement social-media outreach programs, to increase awareness and positive sentiment of users.

How will I make an impact?

Research buyer behavior and market opportunities

Work with the client and our client engagement team to develop a strategic approach to prioritizing and promoting various services and products to help the client use Brightspace to its potential

Collaborate with product, client engagement and sales experts to create and deliver marketing campaigns promoting targeted aspects of the Brightspace platform

Leverage differentiated messaging and positioning, clearly articulating the value that our products offer

Write marketing content and collaborate with other members of the marketing team to create materials such as web content, brochures, pitch decks, videos, email templates, webinars, case studies, and social media posts

Measure and report on program effectiveness

What you'll bring to the role:

Must have 2+ years of relevant experience in a product/solutions marketing or related role

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to pick-up and understand new technologies quickly

Project management experience

Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong research and analytic skills

Experience in marketing mix including planning, implementing, and managing marketing initiatives encompassing Market/Competitive Assessment, lead generation, product/services launch strategies/implementation web marketing, and marketing/sales collateral development

College or bachelor's degree, Business Administration, with a particular focus on marketing and/or communications preferred by not necessary.
