As a Sales Support/Branch Administrator for our Mobile Solutions team at United Rentals, you will be responsible for proactively increasing revenue for the team by providing exceptional customer service, processing rental quotes and reservations, and terminating contracts. In addition, this role includes overseeing administrative duties in accounting, credit and collections and purchasing; as well as general office management, and customer service problem resolution.

Our Mobile Solutions team specializes in the rental, sales, renovation, restoration, modification and transport of new and used shipping containers. We provide storage and office space solutions for several industries including; industrial, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, education, retail and more.

We offer the broadest range of equipment including but not limited to storage containers, ground level offices, tool cribs and construction hoardings, all delivered by the strongest customer service team in the industry.

Additional duties include the following:

Respond to all inbound calls in a consistent, professional and courteous manner

Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers

Review all equipment requests and propose solutions that suit the customer's requirements

Identify leads for new business and communicate to the appropriate field personnel

Effectively resolve customer issues and coordinate solutions with other personnel

Warm call on lost and/or dormant accounts to retain or generate business

Assist with branch operations, such as scheduling deliveries and pick-ups and coordinating service calls

Assist with fleet administration, fleet inspections and vehicle inspections

Coordinate the branch's accounts payable and receivable functions, including assisting with collections on overdue accounts

Oversee administrative functions of the branch

Other duties assigned, as needed

Job Requirements:

High School diploma

Forklift experience or forklift certification, an asset

Strong PC skills (including MS Word)

Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills

Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills

Keen attention to detail

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
