Position Summary:

How You'll Make an Impact

You sell reputable material handling products and services that enable our customers to meet their business goals through optimizing their material handling and storage solutions

Sales

  • 50%
  • Promote the sales of parts to our customers
  • Support our Technicians for incremental parts revenue growth
  • Liaise with our Wheel & Tire Specialist for solutions and/or alternatives
  • Review with customers their equipment usages and provide solutions and/or alternatives for added value benefits
  • Provide different brand x part choices by price and quality (Liftpartner)
  • Furnish customers a choice of having a parts stock consignment placed on their site and then installs
  • Procure new business for our company from customers who are now using different suppliers
  • Develop pricing structures for certain customers (brand x)
  • Develop strong customer relationships
  • Submit parts price quotes to customers (discounts must be pre-approved by requesting through your manager)
  • Suggest alternative parts based on the application
  • Market and promote new product offerings and promotions
  • Obtain parts and certain equipment sales orders
  • Actively engage on Quotes presented to monitor closing ratio of wins to review with your Manager

Customer Service 40%

  • Handle customer enquiries
  • Handle customer care responses (including our Customer Care Department in resolutions)
  • Provide solutions to customer's part problems
  • Calm angry customers
  • Deliver parts directly to customers when necessary
  • Process customer enquiries that are not parts related by passing on the information to the appropriate person
  • Schedules dates with customer to go in and count parts consignment
  • Deals with stock and warranty problems with parts
  • Pass on service and driver training leads to appropriate department
  • Ensure cores are returned and processed in a timely manner
  • Dialogue with Technicians/Management
  • 5%
  • Outline problems with parts with both technicians, management and technical services
  • Talks to tech's and management about different parts suppliers and alternatives

Other Duties

  • 5%
  • Calculates yearly expenses and sales forecasting
  • Files weekly call sheet reports
  • Maintains customer records
  • Attends PSR meetings, and other meetings as required
  • Personally support strategic initiatives such as:
  • Complete Solutions?, Ideal Maintenance ® and Complete Fleet?
  • Health & Safety
  • Other Business Direction plans and strategies

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • A minimum of 4 years parts experience or equivalent education
  • Experience introducing new parts to existing customers preferred
  • Microsoft Office platform experience
  • Experience tracking sales activity and sales funnel
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Driver's Abstract meeting company policy
