THIS IS A 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

PURPOSE OF POSITION

As a member of the Public Affairs Team, you will design, develop and produce creative content, materials, and products to market FSRA to financial industry representatives, consumers, target audiences and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning, designing and developing digital content material using expertise in written communication, visual communications, presentation, graphic design, photography and video production.

Identifying content format to best achieve marketing and communications objectives and conveying messaging to a target audience including ability to ensure materials are AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) compliant.

Developing creative products to support communications, social networking, marketing and advertising objectives, including customized digital and print products, and visual representations of ideas and messages.

Providing direction to designers, printers and other external service providers engaged in content development projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

Demonstrated knowledge of communications theories, principles and methods including digital media, communication techniques and conventions to produce creative products.

Demonstrated knowledge of multi-media graphic design methods, software and layout production using traditional and digital image editing tools, digital video production and digital image editing theory, style and integration of art/design, animation and video, AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) and user experience and interface design.

Skills

Proven skills in on-line communications/content development, marketing and website design and the use of emerging technologies including digital technologies, video editing software, social media tools, current online and media production applications, software and technology.

Proven skills in communications product planning, principles and practices to develop products to support FSRA business goals and priorities.

Demonstrated skills to identify and analyze client needs and target audiences and to determine styles and content appropriate for different purposes and able to ensure AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) compliance.

Proven writing and editing skills to write original content and edit content prepared by others.
