EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: RECEPTION & SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT

Part time

  • 21 hours per week; $25.00/hr

SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for providing administrative support for FCSS programs as well as

posting and maintaining FCSS social media postings within established guidelines through the

Communications Dept.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

? Review/answer/forward social media inquiries within required timelines

  • Post and maintain FCSS social media postings to Facebook and other digital forums
  • Provide digital promotion and advertising support for all FCSS in-house programs
  • Provide client intake and admin support to FCSS staff
  • Research as requested i.e. internet; websites; telephone/e-mail; face to face inquiries
  • Attend meetings, record, transcribe and distribute minutes as required
  • Use Microsoft Suite including Share Point and/or other presentation software to prepare

reports, correspondence, presentations and other documents

  • Provide special projects administrative assistance as required
  • Operate office equipment including scanner and photocopier
  • Enter, compile, and maintain program statistics on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Regularly update the Community Resource Directory
  • Other duties as required

TRAINING, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration with Social Media Training
  • and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a related field
  • Adept understanding and experience related to posting and maintaining social media forums
  • Ability to manage video equipment for social media postings
  • Exceptional skills utilizing Microsoft Suite including Share Point; and social media

communication tools applications

  • Strong initiative and the ability to work with minimal direction
  • Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills and abilities
  • Must display positive attitude with the public and co-workers and place customer service first

and foremost

  • Ability to work positively in a fast paced and changing team environment
  • Knowledge of FCSS and FRN programs or the ability to acquire such knowledge within the

probation period

  • Ability to work with challenging issues in a sensitive and effective manner
  • Extensive knowledge of community resources
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Class 5 license and use of a personal vehicle during business hours
  • RCMP Based Criminal Record Check
