Based in Richmond Hill, this role provides administrative support to our engineering teams across Canada. The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years' administrative experience in an office environment and will:

  • Use MSOffice 365
  • Word, Outlook (email and calendar), PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint
  • Format and edit technical reports using MSWord Styles
  • Prepare Excel spreadsheets
  • sorting data, formulas, pivot tables and graphs
  • Maintain SharePoint sites by uploading content and general formatting
  • Schedule meetings using Outlook calendar
  • Manage personal files and share content using OneDrive folders
  • Combine and edit pdf documents using Bluebeam or Adobe
  • Communicate corporate events and activities using social media platforms
  • Provide support for internal quality audits
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and catering
  • Support production of reports and drawings
  • Prepare expense reports
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Provide backup reception duties, directing telephone calls, delivering messages, greeting employees and visitors, sending couriers, and distributing incoming mail
  • Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) guidelines and formatting is an asset.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in an office environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure in a team environment with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • A can-do attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficient in AODA formatting preferred
  • Associate degree preferred
