Munich Re seeks a passionate, forward-thinking individual with a creative eye to serve as the Marketing Communications Senior Specialist for the company's North America Life group.
In this role, you will be part of a small, nimble team of high-performing professionals providing strategic internal and external marketing communications support across Munich Re US Life and Munich Re Canada Life. Specifically, you will develop and deploy content in support of multifaced, multichannel campaigns that advance the businesses' strategic objectives and brand positioning.
Provide critical support in executing internal and external marketing communications campaigns that engage employees across North America Life and articulate our value proposition for clients across markets.
Collaborate with business leaders and other key internal constituencies to identify, produce and deploy content via the appropriate North America Life marketing communication channels.
Provide strategic oversight of the company's two intranet pages (US Life and Canada Life), ensuring a solid pipeline of content to keep employees informed on a variety of business topics and company engagements.
Partner with senior leadership to create, shape, and deliver employee experiences that engage our workforce, including company-wide town halls, leaders forums, and other large-scale, high-profile employee meetings.
Write, copy edit and deploy strategic, company-wide messages including operational announcements and leadership memos.
Look across all North America Life channels to ensure we are delivering clear and consistent messages that align with our strategic objectives and brand standards.
A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in marketing or corporate communications, either in-house or at an agency.
Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing or communications, or equivalent professional work experience with demonstrated success.
You are a skilled writer with impeccable grammar who can adapt communications deliverables based on voice, tone, audience, and channel.
You have exceptional interpersonal skills that enable you to build successful relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders at every level of the company
You are highly organized and have strong attention to detail.
You are flexible and thrive working in a fast-paced environment where you must juggle multiple assignments and projects under short deadlines.
You are an autonomous self-starter who enjoys working independently and an effective team player with a ?roll up your sleeves? mentality.

You are exceptionally well versed in Microsoft SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with marketing communications tools (i.e., MailChimp, SurveyMonkey, Hootsuite, etc.)
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
Experience in the (re)insurance industry is preferred but not required
