Currently, Circle CVI is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in a full-time work model (remote and in office) in our headquarters in Calgary, Alberta.

About the Opportunity

As our new Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will:

  • Own Circle's full-cycle recruitment process for roles within the organization including Technology, Product, Sales, Customer Success, Operations
  • Build strong sourcing techniques with a good understanding of how and where to secure top talent as well as building strong talent pools and pipeline
  • Proactive searching by going beyond the application, selection and hiring process - engaging in other search avenues such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Campaigns with ATS platform, partnering with organizations and schools
  • Support leaders in understanding the philosophy & approach with respect to Talent Acquisition
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment related programs, personnel policies, and recruitment best practices to keep the hiring leads, prospective candidates and the organization informed of new developments and key market trends
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to internal programs and processes relating to recruitment
  • Work with multiple recruitment agencies and act as main point of contact
  • Collaborate with the HR team on and talent and culture related projects

About You

  • 3+ years of recruitment experience with an agency or in-house, particularly in engineering and tech roles
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems and experience leveraging technology to create effective processes, efficiencies, and metrics
  • Strategic planning experience to find top talent, focusing on long-term human resources planning and finding appropriate candidates for positions that require a very specific skillset
  • Experience with salary data compilation for market standards and internal comparison
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • International recruitment experience and familiarity with hiring practices in other regions outside of North America considered an asset
  • Experience with SharePoint is considered an asset
  • Experience with applicant tracking system Scout is considered an asset
