We are Habo, a strategic studio founded in Montréal. We empower our clients with consumer/market intelligence and strategic planning. Our team combines marketing and finance profiles to provide clients with valuable insights and a holistic view of their strategy and business model. We work with a wide variety of clients on an extensive range of projects, in both Canada and the United States, and we do marketing research and strategic planning a little differently. By constantly reinventing ourselves, day after day, we strive to continuously improve the value we bring to our clients’ businesses.


In order to accelerate our growth and better support our clients, we are looking for a Marketing and Communication Manager. As an integral part of the team and of all projects, this person will be responsible for:



  • brand and communication strategy

    • participating in the development of the annual marketing and communication strategy

    • developing and writing communication tools

    • overseeing the deployment of the content strategy (studies, industry reports, white papers) and managing the communications plans for the various content releases

    • ensuring the development of the Studio’s brand image and the respect of its brand identity

    • developing and managing the marketing budget and ensuring resources and budgets are used efficiently



  • digital marketing and social media

    • deploying marketing initiatives to increase the Studio’s visibility and generate business opportunities

    • managing the performance of digital marketing campaigns (Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Ads, SEM)

    • managing the website and its updates and ensuring it performs optimally (Google Analytics, SEO)

    • managing and moderating the organization’s social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn)



  • relationship marketing

    • overseeing CRM and related direct communication activities (newsletters, lead generation campaigns, etc.)



  • internal centre of expertise

    • providing assistance to the team in all marketing- and communication-related matters as it carries out the Studio’s projects

    • advising team members on the use of marketing tools and best practices




We are looking for a future member of our team having:



  • energy and passion

  • creative sensitivity and innovative and strategic ideas


The ideal candidate:



  • holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or communications

  • has least three to five years of professional experience in digital marketing, ideally in a B2B environment

  • has excellent writing and communication skills in both French and English

  • has an excellent knowledge of social media (organic and paid)

  • is proficient in the use of digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn, Google Ads)

  • has agency experience (an asset)
