Sales Technical Support – Montreal area

This position requires a person with technical skills to assist Sales Representatives in the sale of Wireless Network Solutions and Barcode Systems with direct interaction with customers. 

Post sales involves implementation, installation, and supporting products such as Label Printers, Photo ID Printers, Barcode Scanners, Label Applicators, Wireless Terminals and Networks.

- Start date:  Immediately

- Salary depending on experience plus car allowance and benefits

- Working hours:  Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Supplier relationships, business planning, price negotiations, and organizing staff training
  • Customer interaction including needs assessments, demonstrations, and recommendations
  • Post sales wireless remote support, system upgrades, and trouble shooting
  • Product support via telephone or email

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills in French and English
  • College or University Degree, Diploma or Certificate in either related fields
  • Strong computer, network, and software skills
  • Experience with 802.11 Wi-Fi Networks
  • Ability to communicate openly and confidently
  • Work independently with good time management skills
  • Good trouble shooting skills to define and solve problems
  • Ability to read technical mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Have a reliable vehicle along with a clean driving record

Assets

  • Experience with related technologies, suppliers or customers 
  • Experience with Android
