Job Description

CBRE Canada is looking for a graphic designer to work with the National Marketing & Communications team. This individual would have excellent design knowledge and strong communication skills that would support our busy team and the wide variety of assets we create across digital and print platforms and across all areas of the business. A passion for branding and an appreciation of storytelling through design is ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the National Marketing team to develop creative solutions across print and digital platforms
  • Understand and incorporate the CBRE brand into internal and external marketing materials to drive consistency across all areas of the business
  • Stay up to date on current design trends and incorporate into deliverables
  • Provide guidance and training to other designers when required
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in graphic design
  • Preferably three to five plus years of related work experience
  • Portfolio with applicable references

Technical skills

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel)
  • Expert knowledge of graphic design principles, digital design principles and web standards
  • Experience with video editing and basic knowledge of HTML coding
  • Knowledge of PC and Mac operating systems

Communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively present information

  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks on time, while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload, learn and adapt quickly and take direction from others
