The Growth team will consist of full-stack engineers who have full control over the generation and indexing of our public job pages. You will partner with a dedicated Product Manager and Designer to constantly drive towards improving our Wonoloer Growth KPIs. This is an exciting position that offers autonomy and teamwork, with opportunities for career development, reporting to the Director of Feature Engineering.

What you'll do:

  • Directly manage the people and process for a team of full stack engineers
  • Use your solid understanding of web development, SEO, and experimentation to build a scalable growth engine for our user acquisition efforts
  • Provide technical leadership, skills development opportunities, and mentoring to engineers in a collaborative way
  • Participate in Product Planning across the whole Technology team to ensure we are building the right things and delivering them at the right time for our customers while minimizing technical debt

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of tech lead experience; you've led and motivated a technical team
  • Past experience or working knowledge of backend systems or managed backend developers
  • Deep understanding of how to run successful experiments
  • Strong communication skills with engineers and non-technical folks, and an ability to clearly distill complex and ambiguous situations into actionable plans for your team
  • Experience delivering products in an agile environment

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with React on the frontend and Ruby on the backend is highly preferred
  • Experience with search engine optimization and server-side rendering technologies
