We are looking for an enthusiastic Communications Specialist to manage our external and internal communications. You will promote a positive public image and control the dissemination of information on our company's behalf.

Phenomenal communication and copywriting skills make a strong communications specialist. Experience in corporate communications and project management are important qualities too. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude will help you gain the trust of colleagues and external parties alike.

Responsible for coordinating the communications output within the company. Creates and delivers website content, emails, blogs, social media posts, brochures, newsletters, and handles public relations.


  • Developing effective corporate communication strategies
  • Managing internal communications (memos, newsletters etc.)
  • Writing and editing copy for websites, email campaigns, brochures, proposals, social media, corporate newsletters, press releases and communications
  • Create marketing and promotional materials, mostly digital
  • Work with PR agencies to promote products and services through PR initiatives, manage timely releases and submissions, and perform ?damage control? in cases of bad publicity
  • Design and launch email marketing campaigns
  • Research, write and implement blog posts
  • Manage social media accounts, including researching, writing and scheduling social media posts and responding to messages and mentions
  • Plan and deliver communications strategic plan yearly
  • Work with team and business units to determine communication needs
  • Cutting edge, industry leading.
  • Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references
  • Research media coverage and industry trends.
  • Develop fresh story ideas.
  • Project manage multiple initiatives at once
  • Liaise with media and coordinate requests for interviews, statements etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ideal candidate has 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • BSc/BA in marketing, public relations, communications or relevant field
  • Proven experience as communications specialist
  • Experience in copywriting and editing
  • Solid understanding of project management
  • Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
  • Proficient command of English
