Digital Consultant/Senior Consultant at Santis Health


Santis Health, a leading public affairs, communications and strategy consultancy focusing on the health care sector, has an opportunity for a Digital Specialist with our growing Communications Practice. Based in our Toronto office, this ambitious, self-motivated individual will work closely with the Santis team to provide digital services that support the marketing and communications needs of both the firm and the clients we service.   


  • Support daily website content updates and social community management, monitoring, tracking, content creation for Santis (i.e., Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) and for client channels for which Santis provides website and/or social media support, monitoring and campaign management.
  • Act as a point of contact and project lead between our internal team and clients, including:
    • Develop project management plans and keep the project team focused on meeting multiple, tight timelines.
    • Develop, monitor and maintain various digital strategies including client websites, search engine optimization and social media campaigns.
    • Liaise with internal teams or external partners or clients to inform the creation and management of digital strategies and as part of ongoing project management.
    • Creation of digital campaign proposals and budget estimates.
    • Strategize, plan, execute, monitor, optimize, measure, analyze and report on digital campaigns (organic and paid) from inception to completion.
    • Research and help evaluate team ideas for development and improvement of digital initiatives.
  • Support the setup and execution of email marketing activities including email campaign set-up, segmentation, scheduling, testing, distribution, and campaign optimization.
  • Plan and execute the collection or delivery of creative assets for digital campaigns.
  • Follow up with internal team and/or clients as needed on content, images, list requirements and other campaign details and work with team to ensure accuracy/brand standards prior to deployment (i.e., image sizes, correct links, character counts, content).
  • Identify opportunities for innovative digital strategies and tactics to support objectives as identified, including, but not limited to: SEO, paid search, social media, and display advertising (i.e., Google Ads + Google Grants, YouTube, etc.).
    • Prepare/support the preparation of any necessary documentation (i.e., project briefs, proposals, and reports, etc.) as needed.
    • Create graphics (i.e., images, graphics, gifs, infographics, videos), content (copy, photos, and videos) and landing pages.
    • Prioritize, track and report on project status.
    • Communicate project issues to team/clients as determined by project workflow/reporting structure.
  • Create documentation to support campaign and/or process adherence and continuous improvement (e.g., help files, training manuals, user guides, ).
  • Assist in the troubleshooting of issues related to websites, email marketing and digital campaigns.
  • Project lead for Santis website maintenance (in collaboration with service provider), updates, refresh projects, creation of new sections and/or revisions.
  • Provide advice and feedback on best practices.
  • Contribute to administrative work as required such as conducting media scans, sending client communications and scheduling meetings.


  • A degree or diploma in digital marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
  • In-depth experience of all aspects of the creation, delivery, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting for organic and paid digital campaigns (i.e., social media platforms, websites, organic and paid campaigns, working with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and related software/tools).
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing analytics, search engine optimization, and ability to make recommendations to improve performance and test new tactics.
  • Strong skills in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Experience working with Mailchimp and WordPress.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders, internal and external clients.
  • Basic HTML experience.
  • Photography and/or videography considered assets.
