The Logistics & Marketing Coordinator role is based in Edmonton, Alberta. and reports directly to the Marketing Services and/or Logistics Manager for Lehigh Cement in Canada Region.

This position will be responsible for supporting the Logistics and Marketing Services departments. Responsibilities include data consolidation, report generation, and overall support of the Logistics and Marketing Services team. This role requires a technically competent analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and a keen interest in process improvement.

What you'll get to do:

Logistics department:

  • Track and manage monthly rail retain
  • Act as liaison with vendors and shared services to set up accounts, support reconciliation, and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Assist with the creation of requisitions, scheduling agreements, and purchase orders required for freight and materials
  • Support the development of performance and KPI reporting
  • Support STEP implementation and process/reporting stabilization
  • Explore opportunities to improve processes and create efficiencies
  • Complete ad hoc reporting as needed

Marketing Services department:

  • Prepare and distribute daily cement and fly ash sales tracker
  • Prepare and distribute monthly SCM profit sharing report
  • Support month-end reporting
  • Assist in the development, utilization, and roll out of improvements to increase sales reporting efficiencies
  • Act as backup to the Marketing Analyst, assisting in data aggregation and report compilation when the analyst is unavailable
  • Complete ad hoc reporting as needed

Administration:

  • Provide transactional support to Sales Administration department as required
  • All responsibilities apply to Cement and Fly Ash

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Intermediate-to-high skill level with Microsoft Office 365 software, notably Excel
  • Exposure to SAP ERP tools and experience in scripting and data querying considered an asset
  • Strong presentation and note-taking skills
  • Commensurate post-secondary education
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to personal skill development
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines
