Are you an exceptional communicator who would love to support the health and well-being of your fellow Manitobans? Come join our expanding team! Manitoba Blue Cross is looking for an experienced writer with a talent for producing on-brand content designed to assist audiences through their health care journey.
As the corporate communications coordinator, you will play a key role in the development and execution of our communications strategy. You must be an excellent writer with the ability to create targeted content that resonates with a variety of audiences.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and implements communications that align with our mission to improve the health and well-being of Manitobans.
- Supports development of engagement strategies to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborates with internal health care experts to develop self-paced and dynamic online wellness learning programs delivered through various platforms.
- Writes, reviews, edits and sources diverse content for a variety of platforms and audiences in support of corporate initiatives.
- Maintains and enhances Manitoba Blue Cross's reputation and brand, and ensures accountability, accuracy and consistency in communications.
- Collaborates with the creative team to ensure brand consistency. SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES
- Dedicated to the principles of exceptional service; committed to anticipating and responding to the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years experience in communications position with a portfolio of work provided upon request.
- University degree/college diploma in communications and/or learning program design/development.
- Demonstrated understanding of public relations and excellence in writing, proofreading and editing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential outcomes of various communication scenarios and make recommendations.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment; has an unwavering focus on process and results with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience developing and/or sourcing health and wellness content an asset.
- Experience with corporate video production and/or learning management systems an asset.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office 365 suite an asset.
