Career Opportunity Summary:
Under the guidance of the VP Sales and Marketing, assists in the development of the product marketing plans. Conducts on-going market research and evaluates potential customers for strategic business fit. Coordinates the development of promotion marketing methods, tools and trade show strategies with Corporate Marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in developing and implementing marketing plans, strategic business plans, marketing initiatives, sales objectives, budgets, projections and other programs to ensure the profit, growth and expansion of products and services.
- Participates in the planning, development and distribution of advertising and promotion programs including contracts with third party media.
- Assist in the planning and execution of trade show plans of action.
- Responsible for branding of the business unit including website management and social media.
- Coordinates joint marketing efforts with business partners.
- Prepares and organizes customer appreciation events/receptions or company promotion activities at specific trade shows.
- Organizes and prepares local or international media/customer events as required.
- Prepares proposals in conjunction with the sales team and other levels of management.
- Develops and maintains current market-specific sales manuals and presentation material for distribution to the sales team.
- Develops and coordinates printing of internal and external communication materiel such as: newsletters, certificates, posters, brochures, mailers and flyers to support marketing and company-driven communication initiatives.
- Carries out special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Post Secondary education in marketing, business administration or a related field.
- Minimum one year demonstrated experience managing marketing initiatives.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency in MS Office, digital marketing platforms and document editing software.
- Ability to travel, as required.
