About EMILI

The Enterprise Machine Intelligence and Learning Initiative (EMILI) was created to prepare and empower the Manitoba economy to leverage digital disruption for success. Our focus is primarily on stewarding Manitoba's digital agriculture industry. Through our various projects, we work with industry and academia to accelerate the adoption of intelligent technologies and to provide people with the skills and training required in a digital economy.

EMILI is an industry-led, non-profit organization with a mix of government and industry funding. We are a team of about 15 people and operate in a hybrid environment with remote work and access to office space as required. We offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.

We are seeking an experienced communicator to take on the role of Manager of Communications at EMILI. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of EMILI's public communications. You will help develop and refine the EMILI brand, and manage strategic communications through multiple channels to advance EMILI's mandate.

Portfolio of Responsibility

The position will be responsible for:

Managing EMILI's online presence, including EMILI website, content on third-party websites and systems, newsletters, social media, press releases

Developing and disseminating public-facing communications on EMILI's activities and achievements as well as those of our project partners

Strategically catering EMILI's communications considering EMILI's value proposition for various key audiences
