Leader Name: VP, Community Initiatives

Travel: Consistent travel within Alberta is a requirement for this role

, you will be responsible for looking after the day to day operations of the ATB Community Initiatives team. This role includes tasks such as ticket coordination and distribution, promotional material coordination, and support for the larger team. The daily activities of the Marketing Coordinator will be overseen and directed by the Vice President, Community Initiatives. In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will:

  • Contribute to sponsorships and events with the aim to deliver WOW experiences for clients, prospects and Team Members alike.
  • Coordinate sponsorship and/or event activations which may include attending and helping with specific promotions on site as required.
  • Coordinate attendees and their experience as determined by the sponsorship or event objective and target market.
  • Help with gathering and tracking sponsorship/event metrics.
  • Ensure privacy and CASL compliance in all direct marketing communications.
  • Assist the Community Initiatives team in providing smart, simple and helpful tools and support to all stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a trusted network with internal and external stakeholders that are influential to the success of the Coordinator's activities.
  • Act as a key point of contact by providing guidance and support to branch/AoE, and other channel representatives, regarding numerous department initiatives. Administrative and daily team support as required.

Requirements

  • Completion of post-secondary education in Marketing or related field and minimum of 1-3 years of relevant event or sponsorship experience
  • Demonstrated experience in digital and technical literacy and proficiency in all areas of Google Suite
  • Creative, organized, and the ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in high-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently
  • Strong listening skills
