If you have a passion for sales and ambition to introduce ATCO's products across Vancouver Island's vibrant construction industry we want you on our team. If you see yourself developing, securing and following through on requirements for modular office space, housing and hygiene facilities from Victoria to Port Hardy and everywhere in between, this Sales Representative role is for you.

The Sales Representative role researches, targets and builds relationships to sell or rent new and used ATCO products and services. As a Sales Representative you will be tasked with monitoring your region for major projects, prospecting new business and nurturing existing relationships. You will have the benefit of marketing available fleet product along with ATCO's manufacturing capabilities to build from scratch. This is a competitive role and building strong technical product knowledge while engaging in local community events will be paramount as you seek to build trust with your accounts.

To allow in-person collaboration opportunities it will be required for our successful candidate to live close to Nanaimo or Victoria. Remote work and work from home will also be accommodated in this role, in line with ATCO's flexible work environment practices.

As the ideal candidate, You are able to:

  • Respond to customer inquiries by creating quotations.
  • Build customer-specific presentations for an upcoming meeting.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing and potential customers to strengthen relationship and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Research current industry trends to be able to communicate effectively with customers about relevant industry activity.
  • Connect and communicate effectively with Sales Representatives in other jurisdictions to learn more about customers about what customers in your region are doing elsewhere.
  • Monitoring current utilization levels and voicing your recommendations for new features or products.
  • Update administrative records in SalesForce, and maintain accurate sales paperwork.
  • Submit leads in a timely manner.
