Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) to provide business development support and technical support of direct sales of mobility solutions and ensure customer success with T1/T2/T3 operators in Canada
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate success in sales support, account management and services solutions growth
  • Support assigned Client Executives to meet sales quota goals and formulate innovative design options that address customer business objectives
  • Establish, maintain and manage technical relationships with current and prospective customers to ensure their success
  • A typical day as a Technical Sales Specialist will consist of creating unique, novel and cost effective designs and quotes around Fujitsu solutions for direct prosecution of business based on established understanding of customer network applications
  • Assist with new product introduction by preparing and delivering presentations and demonstrations to customers
  • Act as liaison between customer and Fujitsu resources to coordinate and/or oversee resolution of technical problems to meet customer requirements
  • Establish and maintain technical expertise in current and upcoming Fujitsu network technologies and their fit in customer networks
  • This position will report to Luke Fox, Manager of FSEs
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time when possible to support customer initiatives

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong technical foundation across Fujitsu's new portfolio solutions and initiatives: software, hardware, managed services and wireless
  • Awareness of industry trends including Open Networking
  • Strong technical knowledge in mobility solutions including RAN, ORAN, VRAN, access, metro and LH DWDM and network architectures
  • Technical sales
  • Engineering project management and/or;
  • Direct customer-interactive technical support for engineered solutions
  • Strong Communications Skills: In writing, developing, and presenting technical content for both internal and external stakeholders
  • A past history of success:
  • Managing complex projects across multi-functioning teams with aggressive deadlines and completing them on-time and within budget
  • Solving client challenges through utilizing independent problem-solving skills

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong technical aptitude and be able to assimilate Fujitsu technology and product specifics quickly
  • Strong communications skills and ability to interact with customers to ensure agreement on technical requirements for projects
  • Develop and communicate solutions to the customer
  • Maintain an awareness of industry trends including multi-vendor and multi-technology solutions
  • Communicate effectively across the matrixed sales team and other groups within the company in support of their duties
  • Experience with multi-vendor and multi-technology solutions
  • Excellent client facing skills
