In this one-year assignment/contract, you will play a critical role in delivering all the recruitment requirements and deliver on the strategy for the CNC (Creating Nursing Capacity) Program. Your passion in recruiting high calibre experienced Nurses will help support the growing need for home care support to patient across Ontario. As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, proactively attracting, sourcing, and recruiting talented and experienced Nurses, for this program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and deliver recruitment strategy in attracting Nurses aspiring to change healthcare sectors, those that are retired or semi-retired, and/or those who have interest in educating and exploring other facets utilizing their clinical experiences as a preceptor
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment including resume screening, phone interviews, scheduling, feedback solicitation, candidate communication, offers, negotiation and onboarding
  • Be a brand ambassador for Bayshore Healthcare and assist in building and developing our employer brand and value proposition at external recruitment initiatives professional manner.
  • Identify and explore unique attraction practices to pro-actively source and find exceptional talent through associations, social media, networking, and other savvy sources related to theses roles.
  • Think strategically to include hiring strategies that are inclusive of diversity, sourcing that captures the essence of the Nurse persona, and to effectively write an enticing job description to attract a unique and vital level of talent to support the ever-growing need for home care support.
  • Present candidates that are high quality and directly in line with the business and regional expectations.
  • Maintain impeccable organization and constantly re-assess priorities while working on multiple roles at once. This also includes the ability to quickly pull data on your hiring activity and share that with key individuals in the hiring process to create a better overall approach
  • Collaborate across the organization on this special project that will elevate the Talent Acquisition practice
  • Develop candidate pipelines using a variety of sourcing methods and becoming an expert in the business areas you support
  • Conduct interviews to assess candidates, make hiring recommendations and provide support and counsel to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Thoroughly screen candidates while adhering to Bayshore Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding policies and standards, including but not limited to, referencing, security and vulnerable sector screening (where required)
  • Manage and extend offers and negotiate (where appropriate) in alignment with the program
  • Utilize and effectively leverage Taleo Applicant Tracking System to track, communicate and advancement candidates throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Liaise with the hiring manager and Talent Acquisition operational team to present offer letters and initiate necessary background checks

Job Qualification

What You'll Need

Post-secondary education in related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experiences. Human Resources diploma or in progress is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of Recruitment and/or Human Resources, experience in health care and/or recruiting healthcare workers an asset
  • Experienced user of technology including MS Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • This is a virtual position, however, may be required to travel as required to network, interview, participate in career fairs and/or recruitment events to hire key talent
