Job Summary

The Recruiter will source and screen candidates for open positions. This person must have a keen ability to identify and locate passive candidates and building candidate pipelines. In this position, you will drive the recruiting process, present qualified candidates to the hiring manages, and ensure a positive experience for both the candidates and hiring managers. The Recruiter will also liaise the relationship between the operations department and staffing agencies.

Note - this position 100% on site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accountability of the recruiting process of all plant positions.
  • Source candidates for hourly and salary positions.
  • Leads initial consultations with hiring managers on requisition definition and potential sourcing strategies.
  • Conducts external searches through strategic sourcing (networking, cold-calling, job board utilization, etc.).
  • Develops and implements sourcing strategies including advanced internet mining techniques.
  • Develops and maintains extensive and effective networks within professional associations and within the community to ensure a continuous flow of candidates.
  • Identifies and researches new innovative and creative sourcing methods.
  • Utilizes online social and professional networking sites to connect with potential passive candidates.
  • Screens and presents qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Manage the company's use of staffing agencies.
  • Manages hiring managers' expectations.
  • Achieves sourcing and time to fill metrics.
  • Schedule and confirm interviews.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • 2+ years' experience successfully sourcing talent preferably in a distribution/manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
  • Prior experience in direct sourcing for passive candidates.
  • Skilled utilizing complex search methods in LinkedIn, Boolean searches, other.
  • Experience being an admin user for ZipRecruiter, Indeed, and LinkedIn is a plus.
  • Skilled writing compelling and effective ads to build candidate pipelines.
  • Experience managing workloads of 20+ open requisitions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and ATS systems, Ceridian Dayforce a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle a dynamic work environment within defined deadlines.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work with consistent follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Motivated; a ?self-starter?; able to work independently.
