ABOUT THE ROLE

Amsted Automotive Group, London, Ontario, is looking for a highly motivated HR Coordinator to join our team. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the HR Department's initiatives, including recruitment and onboarding for all new hires. This role requires a high degree of ethical standards, a keen eye for attention to detail and a strong desire to assist in the personal development/support for our employees.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Check and record daily call ins in the Attendance Tracker, communicate to Area Leaders and Production Manager
  • Assist with recruitment and/or onboarding - prepare new hire packages, etc.
  • Administer annual job training evaluations for hourly team members, coordinating with Area Leaders and updating the training matrix accordingly
  • Maintain personnel records for hourly personnel in compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Assist with daily 5S Audits
  • Assist with weekly headcount data
  • Assist with Health and Safety tasks, including typing monthly meeting minutes
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquires or requests
  • Organize HR computer files for updated and obsolescence
  • Support Human Resources Manager with any assigned special projects
  • Other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Effective HR administration and people management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Reliable and personable; enjoy working with diverse range of individuals and ensuring employee requirements and needs are met first
