The Marketing Growth team at the Laurentian Bank has created a new role of Marketing Lead, Market Segments, internally referred to as Lead Advisor, Marketing, to support the ambitious client acquisition targets of the Bank, especially on digital channels. The Bank is entering an exciting transformation program focused on an approach that puts clients at the centre of all our intentions and actions.

Your role will be to embrace the needs and concerns of consumers when it comes to personal finances and work in partnership with the Marketing, Digital and Product teams to design a range of highly compelling products and their go-to market strategies.

Responsibilities

You will demonstrate your leadership by developing a go-to market strategy and activation program with key internal and external partners to meet and exceed ambitious growth objectives, as well as attract a new wave of clients to the Bank.

As an expert, you will have to effectively communicate and confidently present your recommendations to senior leadership. You will collaborate with cross-functional (multidisciplinary) teams to set up metrics and analytics reporting to efficiently track and optimize your action plans in order to grow your client segment in all markets.

You will drive research and business analysis on a given client segment, and, based on the findings, you will work with the Brand Marketing, Customer Experience and Product teams to develop a range of industry-leading products for the segment.

Qualifications

º More than 15 years of experience establishing strategic marketing plans focused on client needs, aimed at specific client segments (banking sector, an asset)
º Ability to create successful marketing plans and launch multi-channel marketing campaigns with the Marketing, Product Expert and Digital teams, as well as Personal Banking partners
º Demonstrated experience in leading strategic initiatives by managing priorities, projects and budgets with excellence
º Ability to link your day-to-day responsibilities to the marketing team's strategic goals, based on the priorities of the business line
º Demonstrated ability in competencies including leadership, teamwork, adaptability, customer service, planning, presentation, analytical, and decision-making skills
º Ability to relate to the consumers in your segment, understand how they think and identify customer insight
º Capacity to advocate for the user experience and review the customer journey, particularly in the context of implementing future technological developments and better serving the client segment
º Ability to think globally and act locally and use your insight to craft targeted solutions that align with consumers, while testing and optimizing products and services to find the right mix according to the needs of the market segment
º Capacity to work efficiently in ambiguous situations and develop and implement processes to optimize collaborative work
º Strong understanding of the regulatory environment impacting financial services, an asset
º Bilingualism (French and English) required
