As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for building out and leading demand generation and pipeline building at Street Contxt. This will include strategies to target new and existing accounts, new users, existing users, and past users. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the demand generation strategy, including an annual plan with key metrics and outcomes. On an iterative basis, you will be responsible for designing new demand generation strategies based on outcomes and data, to drive ongoing spending decisions. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with the Leadership Team, Go-To-Market Leadership, and the Go-To-Market Team at large.

Within the new account segment, you will be responsible for developing strategies to target and engage with specific accounts, with an emphasis on target accounts that have former users.

Within the existing account segment, you will be responsible for driving expansion at our current clients, working closely with the Success Team in developing an ABM strategy to highlight wins with the existing user groups, while also engaging with and driving interest across the potential growth opportunities.

Thematic Responsibilities

  • Annual planning and strategy design: you will own the process of designing, implementing, and measuring the success of an annual demand generation strategy, through to budget and KPIs.
  • Organization design: You will be accountable for modelling the marketing function and forecasting the resourcing required to achieve our targets and goals as we grow. You will define role expectations, recruit candidates, design interview processes that identify high performers, and be accountable for onboarding, training and managing their ongoing success.
  • Representing the marketing organization: You will be an educator and advocate of marketing and demand across internal and external stakeholders. You can expect to provide a vision for the function and report on our progress.
  • Reporting on key metrics: You will lead the team in collecting, analyzing, and acting upon support metrics; sharing them with the broader organization on a regular basis in order to drive discussions and decisions.
  • Ongoing coaching and training: You will be responsible for the continual training and development of your team. You will think about how to continually level up their skills and tactics, train them on new methodologies, and instill an ethos of life-long learning.
  • Performance management: You will be responsible for setting performance standards and targets for your team, and managing the performance of your team against those targets.
  • Operational responsibilities: You will ensure we foster a positive environment that supports people in doing their best work, supporting the broader goal of building a great atmosphere and ecosystem for people to do their best work in. You will also be involved with day-to-day team operations including resolving blockers, helping with difficult customer situations, and running daily huddles and meetings.
  • Strategic leadership: As part of the Go-To-Market Leadership Team, you will be responsible for maintaining open communications across the department; promoting cross-collaboration and implementing holistic solutions.

Your know how

  • You have 8+ years of full-time demand generation experience
  • You have 2+ years of full-time leadership experience where you were responsible for outcomes
  • You have a history of owning key metrics and KPIs, and delivering on those metrics to the business
  • You have experience implementing enterprise-level demand generation programs
  • You have tactical, hands-on experience with lead forecasting, reporting, and analysis
  • You have proven experience working with paid media and content syndication vendors
  • You have experience developing compelling messaging and voice across all digital channels
  • You have experience managing third-party vendors including agencies and contractors
  • You have experience partnering with SDRs and sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and deliver offers and campaigns that resonate deeply with customers along the buyer's journey
  • You are a self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • You have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines
  • You enjoy thinking about the big picture and new ways to drive forward high-level organizational goals

It's a bonus if

  • You have demand generation experience with large enterprise deals ($100K+)
  • You have demand generation in a specific industry vertical
