About the Role

Reporting to the Communications Director, the Sr. Marketing Advisor is responsible for the collaborative development and execution of the marketing strategy and is active in the preparation and management of initiatives intended to reach Graham's various external audiences. The Advisor is involved in ensuring Graham's brand identity is upheld and adhered to consistently across various channels. Staying close to the business, the Advisor uses strong relationship management and planning skills, to oversee the execution of annual and initiative plans related to content marketing development with the aim of increasing awareness and elevating Graham's profile and influence in key strategic regions and topics.

As a Senior Marketing Advisor at Graham, you will:

  • Uphold Graham's brand standards and communications guidelines while supporting and executing of marketing plans and initiative-based campaigns
  • Support key strategic initiatives by providing marketing expertise in planning and execution, using an audience-focused approach and strong project management skills
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to establish marketing need, introduce new ideas and ensure best practices are followed for execution and measurement
  • Work collaboratively with Operations to increase awareness of Graham's capabilities among various target markets and geographical locations through strategically planned and executed initiatives
  • Develop and follow protocols for workflow, ensuring projects and communications are directed to appropriate team members or portfolio owners to maximize efficiency
  • Stay current on market trends, competitor activity and identify opportunities in the industry
  • Promote a data-driven approach to marketing through establishing, measuring, and monitoring performance against target KPIs
  • Seek feedback from stakeholders, analyze the results and identify opportunities for improvement/growth and apply to future processes and strategies
  • Support the Communications Director and team as needed
  • Own Graham's content marketing strategy, and work collaboratively with team members and other stakeholders to align content vision and develop assets
  • Craft interesting, well-researched, content to drive traffic, engage and inform target audiences, and improve shared content across digital channels; content to include website copy, case studies, webinars, and other content as needed
  • Manage Graham's website including an integrated SEO strategy and improvements to design, UX, and traffic
  • Manage Graham's advertising activities including evaluation, development, buying and budget
  • Identify and monitor emerging trends and opportunities in the industry, and work to establish Graham as a partner of choice in key markets
  • Ensure all marketing and communications pieces are created using appropriate internal and external design resources and are brand compliant across visual elements, verbiage/tone and manner, logos and disclaimers
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external clients and vendors

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • University degree in Communications, Marketing or Advertising is required
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in a medium to large organization
  • Experience with internal and external marketing and communications and a variety of communication mediums
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and managing various social media
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver results through the full lifecycle of a marketing campaign
  • Experience dealing with vendors (publishers, printers, agencies, etc.)
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills and close attention to detail
  • Experience with geographically diverse organizations
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience developing relationships (or established relationships) with editors and journalists from industry publications
  • Experience dealing with vendors (publishers, printers, agencies, etc.).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Experience with SharePoint, WordPress and other website content management systems
