Based in Vancouver, BC, Moola Inc, is an organization where we operate with agility, and with our plans for rapid growth, we are launching multiple new products and looking to expand our team with new top talent to work a combination of remotely and from our downtown office.

What are we looking for?

Are you a passionate Graphic Designer with a creative flair? If so, then the Graphic Designer position at Moola might be the right role for you. In collaboration with our diverse team, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating digital assets and print collateral for our products and brands. This is an exciting opportunity to work with seasoned marketing experts who will support you as you grow within the organization.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop, evolve and redesign graphic brand standards and guidelines; including font selection and usage, logo standards, colours, layouts and more to ensure consistency within overall corporate brand but in accordance to specified product target markets
  • Create all digital assets including: edit and design of website and landing pages, creating and editing photos and videos, development of online ads, banners, merchant presentations, social content, product design, email communication and more
  • Create all print collateral including: brochures, OOH, ads, tent cards, posters, menus, and other promotional materials to support any in-store or in-merchant initiatives.
  • Help support and lead any creative that's done via the marketing team or through outsourced partners
  • Work directly with printers and other suppliers for the execution of all print materials including paper selection, quotations, proofing and more.
  • Support the vision and strategy for all product brands including personality and brand stories.
  • Co-collaborate on digital product design in strong consideration of UX and best practices.
  • Oversee all creative aspects including photography, video, graphics and typography.
  • Maintain, organize and support the digital asset library
  • Manage, communicate to and collaborate with all internal partners throughout the development of all creative assets
What you bring to the table:
  • 3-4 years of design experience in a brand or studio environment
  • Completion of a post-secondary education program in Graphic or Communications Design
  • Experience in executing creative for all channels of communication including digital and traditional ads, web, video, photography, print collateral and more (radio and OOH considered an asset)
  • Adept at Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop was he/she will be creating/designing creative.
  • Fluency in other software and programming such as Canva, HTML, CSS, and WordPress
  • Highly skilled in all design fundamentals including composition, colour theory, typography, and illustration
  • Ability to create outstanding, original designs for print and web
  • Strong background knowledge of physical print and environmental production processes and practices
  • Flexibility in terms of handling a variety of assignments under tight deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on branding, consistency, and quality
  • Collaborative, creative problem-solver with a can-do attitude
  • Highly organized, motivated, and responsible with good time and project management abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced cross-team environment
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada, and on-site at our Vancouver office
