Clark Builders is hiring a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for elements of both internal and external communications and will work closely with the Corporate Development team on company-wide initiatives. The successful candidate must be a strong collaborator with excellent communication and organizational skills, highly creative, and able to meet multiple deadlines while thriving under pressure.

Reporting to: Manager, Marketing and Communications
Duties and Responsibilities :
Collaborate with a dynamic Corporate Development team to drive departmental goals aligned with organizational objectives and targets
Provide communications support for corporate initiatives, working closely with departments such as Human Resources, Safety, the Executive Leadership Team, and CB University
Create and maintain written material on corporate websites, company intranet, social media channels, marketing campaigns, award submissions, events and tradeshows, collateral, and other writing assignments
Support regular company-wide communications, including newsletters, emails, and town halls, to keep employees informed about short-term and long-term company objectives
Use a compelling brand voice and tone to translate internal messaging and stories to external audiences such as sales announcements, project updates & milestones, successes and celebrations
Conduct research and analysis on market sectors in support of business development targets and initiatives
Plan, design and execute innovative and on-brand collateral such as infographics, posters, presentations, and brochures
Assist with managing the organization's social media platforms, including creating a social media plan/calendar, scheduling posts, monitoring and responding to comments/reactions on our channels, and engaging on sites
Proofread, fact check and validate all information to ensure flawless accuracy on all marketing and communications materials before external distribution
3-5 years' experience in a related field or combination of relevant education and experience
Bachelor's degree or diploma in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or English is preferred
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Experienced in and passionate about digital media; comfortable working in WordPress, SharePoint, customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce, as well as social channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Yammer
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (primarily InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), Premiere Pro, After Effects, considered an asset
Demonstrates initiative, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
Ability to prioritize, self-schedule, and operate under tight and competing deadlines while working with colleagues from various departments, business units, market sectors, and locations
Superior attention to detail, highly organized, and an ability to work as part of a team and resourcefully with minimal supervision
Other creative/ technical skills (photography, illustration, videography) are a definite plus
An ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
