The Opportunity:

The Content Marketing Manager leads and oversees the strategy, planning, and execution of top-of-the-funnel and mid-funnel content to engage prospects in the buying process and ultimately to help drive sales leads and revenue. The content created will inform, educate, and increase broad awareness of the Flextrack brand while driving traffic and engagement on our digital properties. This individual will be critical in amplifying Flextrack's thought leadership status and will be adept at storytelling to effectively communicate the value drivers of Flextrack's Platform Solution.

This is a remote position and we will consider candidates located anywhere in the USA and Canada.

The Content Marketing Lead will fuel inbound marketing strategies, including email, social media, search, lead generation, etc. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of marketing offers, brand positioning, website and social platforms, consumer behavior, segmentation, and how content translates across all marketing channels. This person will be able to track and report ROI and ROO throughout the customer journey. Specific output may include case studies, customer success stories, white papers, explainer video scripts, infographics, press releases, product sheets, web content, and webinars.

This position will work closely with various teams including sales, customer support, digital marketing, and product management. This person needs to be able to see the big picture and how the role contributes to the larger objectives towards Flextrack's growth and awareness..

Day to day you will:

  • Develop content and messaging strategy and implement across all digital properties and media channels including the website, ad copy, paid media landing pages, email communications, social media, presentations, etc.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Team members to develop content for the paid media strategy, ad placements and creative optimization, website updates, email communications, organic social media content, and more.
  • Use a data driven and analytical approach to develop the most effective campaigns to grow customer engagement across channels, maximizing opportunities across customer touchpoints
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to source assets and obtain approvals
  • Manage freelancers and agency partners where needed to develop engaging content marketing programs that drive business goals, overseeing content development and project timelines
  • Optimize and maintain day-to-day planning & tracking tools for organization visibility; master content calendar, seasonal calendar, GTM plans, campaign management, routings, bi-weekly reports & updates.
  • Work with the Vice President of Marketing to develop yearly goals, quarterly goals, and benchmarks for content marketing analytics
  • Collaborate with product marketing team to drive content for webinars and event programing
  • Ensure all content meets high-quality standards and provides clear benefits to the audience
  • Continually test content formats and distribution channels to determine the optimal approach to reaching various segments of the target audiences
  • Repurpose existing content into new forms including blog posts, emails, podcasts, videos, etc.

It would be amazing if you have:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in advanced writing and content creation
  • Experience of writing for both online and offline channels (website, OOH, social, events, etc)
  • Excellent verbal skills; strong presentation skills. Persuasive and articulate.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with diverse segments and audiences with a focus on Enterprise and MSP targets
  • Experience establishing thought leadership through content marketing execution
  • Experience using infographics and videos as part of the content marketing strategy
  • Great verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • A passion for using stories to build creative and innovative marketing
  • Must be a strategic thinker, analytical, technical, and creative. As well as, very organized, highly detailed, self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
  • Ability to create a strong working relationship with all key stakeholders (including Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, and Product Management) to ensure relevant marketing strategies are developed.
  • Strong understanding of lead quality, media ROI, website, email and social KPIs. Eye for creative content, quality, and consistency.
  • Strong curiosity and passion for technology and digital media
  • Ability to track, analyze, and report on content metrics and refine execution as needed
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and time management
  • Comfortable contributing with ideas towards new product features and new markets

Desirable:

  • Experience with SaaS technology
  • Software/technology thought leadership creation experience
  • Creative ideas combined with excellent copywriting skills
  • Skilled in a variety of writing styles
  • Ability to create content that includes data and analytics
  • Sense of humor that can be leveraged in a B2B content (where appropriate)
  • Experience creating all types of content either in an editorial role or a digital marketing role
  • Experience with Pardot, Wordpress, and Google Analytics a plus
  • Ability to create creative social content and campaigns
