We have an opportunity for a Software Developer Co-op

As we move into an accelerated growth phase, we're also looking for co-ops interested in a permanent role with our company.

What experience will you gain?

This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the following skills:

  • Sophisticated, web-based applications with Node JS, HTML5
  • Web technologies and UIs (HTML5, Angular, SASS, CSS3, JavaScript, Kendo UI, D3, RESTful web services, Redux, RxJs, JSON, YAML, etc)
  • Backend technologies such as Docker and Rabbit MQ
  • CI/CD, Agile Methodology (Kanban)
  • Web UI components, tests, automation tests and functionality of our design system
  • Design, implement, test and review software components
  • An aptitude for understanding the design of large systems and the impact of system changes
  • Experience in source code control and the build environment of a large software solution

About you:

You have the following background, but we also recognize that talent comes in many forms:

  • You've gained exposure to object-oriented languages
  • You're passionate about UI design and have appreciation for great user experience
  • You're self-motivated, flexible, pragmatic, proactive and able to handle a variety of tasks
  • You're a great team member and have interpersonal skills including teamwork, respect, courtesy, and discretion

We're not hung up on how much experience you may have with a specific programming language or technology. However, we like to see skill, passion and creativity in the work and projects you've completed.
